New personal developer accounts must run a closed test with at least 12 testers opted in continuously for 14 days before Google will grant Production access. Google checks that testers actually engaged with the app during that window, not just that they opted in. We keep 12–20 real testers active every day of the cycle, so you pass that check on the first attempt.
Yes. Every tester is a staff member who installs your app on their personal, primary phone: devices with months of real usage history, SIM cards, and normal daily activity. We never use emulators, device farms, or freshly-reset "test-only" phones, which Google's systems can detect and flag.
If Google doesn't grant Production access after our full 14-day cycle, we refund 100% of what you paid, with no forms or negotiations. In practice this is rare: 99.4% of apps we test are approved on the first attempt, and for the rest we usually re-run the cycle free after you fix the flagged issue.
Your app is only distributed through your own Play Console closed-testing track, so Google controls access end to end. Our testers sign NDAs, never share builds outside the track, and we delete all artifacts (screenshots, logs, reports) from our systems 30 days after your launch, or immediately on request.
